Evan Silverman is Senior Vice President, Digital Media, A+E Networks. In this position, Silverman oversees digital content, production, and design for A&E, HISTORY, Lifetime, and Biography. Based in New York, he manages those network’s websites, mobile initiatives, and HISTORY and Lifetime’s social media efforts.
Silverman was named to that position in September, 2009, after serving in a similar role for Lifetime Networks. Before joining Lifetime in 2006, Silverman served as executive producer of NBCOlympics.com for the 2006 Torino Games and the 2004 Athens Games. Prior to that, he served as Director, Internet Services, at NBA.com, and worked in Media Relations for the NBA and the Utah Jazz.
Silverman graduated from Bates College in Maine. He currently lives with his wife and daughter on the Upper West Side in New York City.
