Michael De Jongh was appointed Global Head of Sales for MACH’s Mobile Billing and Content business in February 2012. In this role, Michael is responsible for driving the wide spread adoption of MACH’s direct operator billing solution, its Direct Billing Gateway, amongst merchants, content providers, application stores and mobile operators across the globe.
Michael brings a wealth of experience to MACH, having worked in many senior sales and management roles. Prior to joining MACH, he was Sales Director EMEA at Antenna Software, where he was responsible for sales of the company’s mobile enterprise application platform (MEAP) to both operators and enterprise customers. Before this, he worked for Sybase 365 (a SAP company) for more than five years as Sales Director EMEA for their mCommerce division, winning major opportunities with mobile operators, banks and independent providers across the region.
Earlier in his career, Michael was with Vodafone UK for 7 years in varying sales roles. During this time, he worked in the area of Commercial Partnerships where he helped to establish the operator’s M2M (Machine-to-Machine) sales structure through leading the key vertical market strategies.
