He is managing Digital Chocolate’s strategic business development and many key partnerships, including OEM, advertising, and monetization. Digital Chocolate has rapidly emerged as a leader in cross-platform social games, focusing on original brands and technology for a wide variety of platforms.
The company has been the fastest-growing maker of Facebook social games with virtual goods in 2010 and led all software companies in App Store downloads in 2009. Miikka has also co-founded ArcticStartup.com, the biggest Northern European startup media reporting on mobile and web startups and organizing industry events like Arctic15. Miikka holds a M.Sc. (Tech) from Helsinki University of Technology in International Business and Strategy, with focus on Software Business.
