The automotive industry is looking for ways to innovate the driving experience in the wake of the economic downturn, and what better way than to create the ‘connected automobile’. Automakers have decided to capitalise on the demand for the same dynamic multimedia experience in the car that people now expect in their everyday lives.
This year’s Apps World event taking place in London’s Earls Court 2 on the 2-3 October will dedicating a workshop to automotive apps. The workshop has been design to explore how this exciting niche will develop and will examine the innovative ways in which early adopters are approaching the issues, partnering with apps technology firms or running their own developer programmes to answer the increasing consumer expectations for a hi-tech, connected driving experience.
