The organisers of Apps World have teamed up with Microsoft for this year’s Asia event to provide you with a free to attend workshop giving you all the latest news and advice when it comes to Windows Phone 7.

Thye Yeow Bok, an ISV Partner Developer Evangelist at Microsoft, will lead delegates through the world of Windows Phone 7 by running two tracks; one in free to attend developers zone and one which will feature in the Apps World workshops. 

Apps World Workshops: Exciting opportunities with the new Windows Phone 7 Mango

With the latest update to Windows Phone 7 OS codenamed Mango just around the corner, come and learn what new and exciting opportunities the platform can offer, both to a business owner and to a developer!

Developer Zone: Introduction to Windows Phone 7 Mango Development

This session will provide a walkthrough to Windows Phone 7 development. It will also introduce developers to new APIs available in the up and coming Windows Phone 7 Mango OS which developers can use to build interesting and engaging applications.

Thye Yeow Bok has years of software development experience in various different industries such as banking and finance, media and digital advertising and mobile application development as well as developing applications for Windows Phone 7 in his spare time.

The Microsoft workshop at Apps World Asia will set aspiring developers up with everything they need to start designing apps for the Windows Phone 7 as well as informing marketers how to unlock the opportunities that Windows Phone 7 Mango holds. It makes up part of the free-to-attend developer zone at the event on 1-2 September in Singapore and will be held at 1000 on the first day of the conference.
