It’s just over two weeks until #AppsWorld arrives in Asia for the first time, promising a jam packed agenda full of apps-related advice, insight and inspiration across a multitude of issues. Apps World will be providing a free to attend developers track delivering first class workshops from the likes of Microsoft and Droid World over the two days of the show. The workshops will be place for app developers and entrepreneurs and focus on the development of profitable apps across different apps stores, covering a myriad of opportunities and challenges faced when creating and developing apps.
So what can you expect from the Apps World developers’ track?
Microsoft Developers Workshop: Windows Phone Development Platform
Microsoft will be giving you an introduction into the world of Windows Phone 7 Development and how the platform allows you to develop applications faster than ever. Delegates will be given a whirlwind tour of the platform, what it has to offer, how it works and what tools are provided for developers to allow them to create rich, exciting and engaging experiences for their mobile market.
Droid World
Hosted by Leong Hean Hong, project manager at Code Andriod, delegates will be taken through the latest in Android app development from beginner basics to introducing a range of partners and their developer guides.
The session topics include:
- The android framework and API- Development and debugging tools
- Preparing for application deployment
- Preferred technique for writing applications that perform efficiently
- Troubleshooting apps
- Implementation advice
- Improving App performance & user experience
- Addressing security concerns.
